Advocate

Our desire is to advocate for proven and strategic partners that are spreading the gospel in some of the hardest areas on earth.

The completion of the Great Commission is not impossible; it is inevitable! He is calling all of us to participate in His ultimate glory – every tongue, tribe, and nation standing before His throne worshiping Him (Rev. 7:9).

Educate

We look for opportunities to teach people who love God and want to serve Him about the Unreached/Least-Reached people in the world who have no opportunity to know about Jesus. The playing field is not level; while 58% of the world has an opportunity to hear about Jesus, the other 42% have never heard. This 42% will never hear or even meet a Christian in their lifetime unless someone is willing to give up comfort, culture, and family to go and tell them about Christ. This is a stark reality. Over 3 billion people on earth today are dying and going to hell without even a chance to know Jesus. We believe that once people understand this reality, they will want to be involved in reaching these dear people that God loves so much.

Collaborate

After spending almost 20 years working in the “missions” world, we know numerous organizations and people who are working in some of the most difficult places on earth. We believe that when we come together, synergy happens and exponential benefit for the Kingdom occurs. We want to introduce these strategic partners to each other so they can share resources, ideas, and encouragement with one another, propelling them further in winning the lost. We want to introduce business people who love the nations to partners and organizations that we know are doing strategic work in the Unreached world. We want to connect organizations to churches that have an eye for reaching the Unreached. We believe that we can foster collaboration among many entities, enhancing Kingdom growth, thus glorifying God.

Encourage

Unreached people groups are in very difficult (and many times hostile) countries. The current state of the world is hostile to almost everything concerning the gospel. Our desire as an advocate is to also be an encouragement. We do that by visiting our partners, sharing in their successes and victories, as well as consoling them in times of loss and difficulty. By being friends and bringing partners and resources to stand beside them, we help them work through issues standing in the way of success. Many people live in war-torn areas, have lost family and friends, and have been forced to become refugees. SOAR brings training and trauma care resources to our partners, so that they can effectively serve these people groups.

Fund

Less than 1% of missions giving is going to the largest opportunity to reach the Unreached. How can this be? We feel that this statistic needs to change. If we’re ever going to complete the task that we’ve been given, then the funding model and method needs to change. We bring focus to the Unreached/Least-Reached world. The harvester shouldn’t need to stop harvesting to raise funds to continue their work on the field. Reallocation is needed to see these fundamental changes take place. We are advocating with churches, individuals, and organizations to reallocate mission dollars for the 42% of the world that is Unreached.

Mobilize

In order to complete the Great Commission, we as believers need to mobilize workers onto the field. Traditionally most of these workers have come from the Global West. Today, there are more believers in the Global South than North America. These Global South believers have many qualities that make them a good fit to go the places that are left to hear the good news. So instead of “From the West to the Rest”, the model should now be “From everywhere to everywhere”. We want to help mobilize these believers to the field, where God can use them to be a blessing.

Make Indigenous Disciples

We advocate for Indigenous Disciple makers. Ultimately, the best missionaries are people who speak the same language, have the same culture, and understand important local issues. We come alongside these leaders to pray with/for them, have conversations on strategy, and help with needed resources.
