About Kerra Jayne
From a young age, Kerra Jayne felt called to serve the Lord through missions. After several short-term trips to Niger, she committed to serving full-time in 2021, bringing with her a bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Alabama and a love for teaching. These experiences prepared her to make a meaningful impact in Niger, where she devotes herself to building relationships and supporting the community.
In Niger, Kerra serves in many roles: teaching at an international Christian school, leading literacy classes, discipling through the local church, and supporting other missionary families. Each of these roles allows her to use her skills and passion to make a lasting difference.
In 2024, Kerra founded Project Salima to care for vulnerable children in partnership with the local church. Project Salima provides essentials like education, nutrition, and healthcare, offering children hope and opportunity for a brighter future.
